About half the size of other MiniMed™ pumps, the MiniMed™ Flex is a discreet, fully connected insulin pump system designed to be controlled from a phone.

Features

• Auto correction. Helps make up for carb counts that aren’t always exact or the occasional missed meal dose.
• No fingersticks in SmartGuard™ technology with the new Simplera SyncTM sensor.
• Personalized flexible glucose targets (100, 110, 120mg/dL). When using the lowest glucose target of 100 mg/dL, the system safely treats to a lower target than other pumps, without increasing lows.
• Small, smartphone-controlled, and includes a rechargeable battery (every 7 days for approx. 30 minutes).

What if you underestimate your carb count?

Before a meal, enter estimated carb count into your pump.
If the system detects a meal, based on the rapid rise of your sugar levels, it automatically delivers stronger correction doses while sugar levels are rising, up to every 5 minutes, to help prevent highs.

What if you occasionally miss a meal dose?

Let’s say life happens and you forgot to give yourself a meal dose.
If you’re trending high, the system automatically delivers a correction dose to help bring you safely back in range.
The MiniMed™ 780G system is designed with SmartGuard™ technology, an advanced algorithm that uses current and past sugar level trends to anticipate, adjust, and correct insulin delivery.

The system automatically gives you more insulin.

The system automatically reduces the amount of insulin delivered.

MiniMed™ Flex system components

Insulin pump

A small, sleek pump that’s lighter than your phone and holds up to 300 units of insulin. Powered by SmartGuard™ technology, it automatically adjust and correct insulin every 5 minutes based on your glucose levels.

Simplera Sync™ sensor

An all-in-one disposable sensor that continuously monitors your glucose levels and works seamlessly with the Flex insulin pump. Enjoy a once-a-week change with up to 6 days of wear, plus 24-hour grace period.

Extended™ infusion set and reservoir

The Medtronic Extended™ infusion set allows for continuous and discreet delivery of insulin through a thin, flexible tube and can be worn up to 7 days. Available in multiple cannula sizes and tubing lengths to fit you.

Smartphone app

Get notified of highs and lows with the MiniMed™ Mobile app. Works on both Apple iOS and Android devices.
